This is a superb case for my HP notebook, that is slightly over seventeen inches. My 'puter was securely comfortable, with lots of padding, additionally as overlapping velcro-fastened swaddling. There are lots of areas for folders, notes, CD's, power cords and every one the trimmings that our busy, modern-day life needs. The shoulder strap distributes the load evenly, therefore albeit my laptop is serious it is very simple to move.
I'm terribly happy with this case, and that i heartily suggest it.

I recently purchased this item as a result of my HP HDX 18t Laptop, and though its an honest product, I had to switch it with a backpack (also from caselogic). there is nothing extremely wrong with this case--its durable and is constructed well; my laptop fits well within, it with slightly additional space to spare for accessories and stuff. however the HDX 18(as well as its accessories) may be a serious mother and it hurts my neck and shoulder if I carry it for over 10 minutes. however the backpack spreads the load rather more efficiently. therefore unless you've got a light-weight 17"" or 18"" laptop with very little accessories to hold around i might say choose. it's clean lines and appears nice and ""appropriate"" if your carrying a business suit, but . . . you get the image.
