I bought this product as a result of my brother had one and it absolutely was smart quality. but Targus has redesigned the half while not changing the half range. The new style half I received was terribly flimsy and wouldn't support a regular laptop while not important bowing. The selling photo at the time of purchase was the recent, smart style. The half shipped was the new, bad design. I came back the half.
