I will not trouble telling you the way powerful, quiet, and light-weight this machine is. individuals appear to simply need to specialize in the touchpad. perhaps early runs of it had issues, however mine works perfectly. the sole quirk is that if you've got 2 fingers on the touchpad at an equivalent time, and check out to maneuver the mouse, you get this fricking 4-headed arrow that has crazy effects (in chrome, it will increase and reduces the font size). simply ensure that one finger stays on the mouse button, and another finger will move the mouse. the matter arises as a result of there's no tactile border between the mouse buttons and therefore the touchpad, therefore if you're careless, you'll be able to find yourself with 2 fingers on the touchpad, and.....chaos. It took me regarding seven minutes to work out that if you retain your index finger on the lower half the mouse button (which you *can* feel) then it is easy to maneuver the mouse with another finger and haven't any issues. I really notice the touchpad quite responsive.
I love this machine, and assume it's a steal for not far more than $700. perhaps it isn't for everyone, however do not let rumors of touchpad problems dissuade you.
