It has served me well the few weeks I actually have had it currently. The wi-fi is keeping me connected as i am typing this from a hotel space. The processor is good and quick. There are four high-speed USB connections. The unit is solidly engineered (perhaps a mite heavy).
My solely criticisms are as follows:
The screen resolution does not look quite as sharp as on my desktop monitor. I'd say, perhaps eighty fifth as sharp, therefore it's always barely noticeable. the opposite issue is that the soundcard does not have all the mixer capabilities you would possibly expect to search out in a very desktop. i do not recognize if this is often common in laptops and that i variety of stumbled upon the problem. however I got around it by getting an external mixer from the Guitar Center.
I initially meant it solely as a travel companion however have since begun using it in my recording studio (with Cakewalk Music Creator). Oh, and to play SimCity (which does not work on Vista!) All in all, i'm quite happy with it.
