I've owned many mid-low finish laptops over the years and this one is that the best nevertheless. quick quick quick, i do not notice abundant distinction between my i7 desktop and this. Ofcourse the graphics card is not as quick as my desktop's (desktop has an HD 5850) however i am unable to see how you'll run something higher while not burning up the battery in ten minutes. I will play Street fighter four with largely everything maxed out except AA, if I add any AA the sport slows all the way down to underneath forty FPS therefore it's unplayable. for $800 you cannot beat it, and i have continually had nice luck with acer, i've owned the aspire ONE and a special acer with a 17"" screen (which i dropped and broke) the feel on the laptop could be a and too, the graceful shiny stuff on my acer ONE netbook got scratched to hell and looked dangerous despite the fact that it worked perfectly. I undoubtedly advocate this laptop as an entry level gaming laptop. i might NOT get something with a less powerful graphics card, this one is simply right for a laptop IMO.
