Customer Reviews : Plantronics BackBeat This review is from: Plantronics BackBeat 906 Stereo Bluetooth Headphones Set [Retail Packaging] (Wireless Phone Accessory) client review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
I've used the Motorola S9s for over a year and was terribly near shopping for the Jaybird JB-200i as a replacement. however i am glad I held off and got the Altec Lansing 906 BackBeat Bluetooth stereo headset. Here's why:
Overall, i am still pleased with my Motorola S9s however my original set suffered constant fate as people who warned me concerning it - the buttons are thus sensitive they stopped responding entirely. At the end, all I had left was one operating button - track skip forward, that is not a lot of facilitate for being attentive to music, taking calls or adjusting volume. The buttons failed at intervals my one year warranty thus I known as Motorola and got a free replacement. Nice. but i started looking around for a replacement since I knew eventually the buttons would finish off once more, as has been widely reported. The headphones are nice however they solely do not appear to last. and that i conjointly wanted the S9's did not have that band with the Bluetooth receiver behind my neck as a result of it prevents you from resting your head on a settee or pillow and enjoying the music. A minor quibble however still a problem.
Okay, thus enter the JayBird JB-200i. It looked like a good replacement for the Motorola S9 and it had a wire going behind your neck rather than that band on the S9, thus resting your head back isn't a haul. Overall, the headset appeared ok however I've never heard of the JayBird company and was involved concerning product quality and client support
